100 German Daasha killed in Syria and Iraq
German Interior Minister Thomas de Mesar said that about 100 German citizen had been killed in Syria and Iraq during the fighting in favor of the organization "Daash" terrorist.
According to the site "opinion today," the German minister said in remarks to the newspaper (Bild am Sonntag) German weekly in its edition of Sunday that since 2012 some 700 German went to war zones in Iraq and Syria.
He added that about a third of these people have returned back to Germany during this period.
To reduce the risk of terrorism due to travel to such areas, de Mesar confirmed that he is to travel to prevent as well as to take action against the returnees. He added that he is made towards achieving the 600 currently against more than 800 defendant.
